Sankofa Nights

Four friends, one question: "Why doesn't Maastricht have nights with real House music?" We stopped asking and started building. Afrohouse, Funkyhouse, and a community that moves together.

Sankofa Nights is Maastricht's biggest Afrohouse party, founded in 2024 by four friends from Limburg. Since the first event at Cavo in November 2024, the collective has hosted nights across venues including Muziekgieterij, drawing hundreds of guests each time. Every event features Afrohouse, Funkyhouse and Melodic House music performed by resident DJs Fray Sun, AJ and Oscar.
